Pandemonium broke out Tuesday evening in Osogbo as operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Osun State Police Command chased 3 suspected internet fraudsters.

Featured24 reports that during the course of the hot chase, one person died while two others were critically injured.

The injured persons identified as Salam and Abdullah, have since been taken to the hospital for treatment.

It was gathered that among the victims of the accident is a student who just finished his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examination.

The trio, according to information gathered by Featured24, were sent on an errand by their father with his car when the SARS operatives gave them a hot chase, taking them to be 'yahoo boys'.

Angered by the incident, aggrieved youths besieged the Osun Government House, GRA, Osogbo with the body of one of the boys killed during the chase.

Our correspondent in Osogbo reports that as at the time of filing this report, in retaliation attack, four SARS operatives have reportedly been killed by some persons whose identity is yet to be known.
