I have a friend who complained to me about the lack luster attitude and undue delay some of our "Citadels of learning" pose in processing applications and dispatch of student transcript. A lot of opportunities are being lost by many because of this attitude and it gets me wondering why such administrative activity should last beyond a month as in the case of my friend.

I must commend our private universities with their processing time and encourage them to continue. They are really setting the pace and standard of education in the country.

Share your experience here on processing times for various universities. Let us call out those ones notorious for delays and praise the best universities who do theirs diligently. I do hope and believe that our unbiased assessment will be seen by the Minister of Education and the NUC.

In Unizik, you go to bank and pay and come back with bank print out. You fill a form and will be asked to come back in may be three weeks. The fact remains that you must be coming to check whether they are really working on your file because they can leave it and be attending to the ones the owners are mounting pressure. Some even pay money to the workers to push their files faster.
