It isn’t about SE. PDP hasn’t compensated the SE for their support since 1999. If for anything, I see the APC winning the SE if it can give the zone the Presidential ticket come 2023. Now that SS are fully pdp, we should be expecting all round development and less poverty in the land, insecurity should be tackled, because it seems APC is the reason while they are backward despite the that they are the richest in the country with the 13% derivation

No! No one is praying for the downfall of the APC. As a matter of fact the Igbos too are stakeholders in the party only that their influence dwindled. Mainly caused by
1. Buhari’s 97% and 5% speech in 2015
2. IPOB’s rise using Jonathan’s defeat as a rallying point
3. Political marginalization of the SE under GMB
2. Peter Obi’s VP ticket under the PDP in 2019.

APC is a national party and should begin to act as one. Sidelining a region because of one election is simply shooting oneself in the foot. Hopefully, the party have learnt a lot and would make amends in the future.
