How She Finally Won Custody For Her Child After Losing In Court. by Nobody: 12:24pm On Sep 24, 2020
I have just joined this " life nor just balance " gang.

Indeed, life nor really balance. You may be tempted to inquire why and how I arrived at my conclusions.

I subscribe to small doctor's position that "if you nor get money hide your face". But the truth is, even if you get money and you nor know how to get about solving your problems, you will have to hide your face. grin

Okay! Enough of the rumblings. Let's get down to my reasons and the subject of discourse.

Love dey sweet oooo, but when love sour eh, e go bitter pass Alomo bitters.

I was just two months old on the job, when this file was sent to me directly by the Managing Partner. Attached to the file was a short note with the inscription" crack this case and report with a trial plan".

Why will he want me to crack the case? The file was quite old, so why crack an old case?

Ejoor! I just freed the matter and returned back to what I was doing. I was preparing defence plan for a case a bank was sued as one of the defendant.

The instructions of the bank was that we killed the case before trial. They didn't want the case, because they had no business being in the case to begin with.

Son of man was still thinking of how to solve that problem when this file came. My curiosity revealed that it was a high net worth client as the name suggested.

I spent days on that case trying to find an angle that is fully supported by our laws, but I couldn't find any.

It was a case that had being lost at the trial court, but also, the life and destiny of 3 year old baby was involved.

The parents were not married, but they were both rich and had connections. The father didn't really want to be in the life of the baby, because he had advised the mother to get rid of the baby, during the early days of the pregnancy. He was simply messing with the mother's love life and relationship.

The mother could not abandon her 3 years old baby. She was getting married to her new lover who stood by her when she was abandoned by her baby daddy.

I soon discovered the motive behind the baby's daddy decision to suddenly seek to be in the life of his child, aside being callous and jealous, was the fact that he didn't like the fact that his child was calling another man, father.

His plan after he got custody was to send the child to her about eldest sister to care for, since he was always traveling and could not cater for a 3 year old.

But why deny her mother the joy of motherhood?

See, walahi fa! Some people are just naturally wicked. He was also getting married to another big breasted , medium ass pretty damsel, why deny her baby mama the joy of being in a love filled relationship. What a man!

I read the file 4 times and I still could a find angle. I was wondering what the ensence of the entire appeal, as her lawyer despite doing his best, still lost the custody battle to the father.

Appeal cases are not won on sentiment. They are fought and won on grounds of erroneous application law and evidence.

People of God, see eh, you can be finding an angle to a case for months, and suddenly the thing will just hit you from no where.

The thing hit me that after when I was reading another law report in respect of another case. I love reading law reports, it's the best place to learn law and legal reasonings.

There was a minor but important mistake the court made and we could capitalise on that to reverse the decision of the court, if we can adduce sufficient evidence to show that the court made that error.

But what was the error the court made that reversed the case in her favour, thus giving her custody of her baby?

That's his own style of writing. He loves to create suspense. I love it too.
