This is why science and religion has clashes.

You just came to a definite conclusion on something simply because you don't have knowledge of it and filled it with God.
Let me for argument sake say God did it, but are you willing to study and research on how this God did it, or will you choose to remain in ignorance and live in your conclusion and never look for the answer?

Imagine if meteorologist and climatologist just concluded that 'God is the cause' and stopped trying to understand how rainfall occurs, clouds and weather patterns from or other branches of science and just concluded with God did it.

Humanity would had never expanded it's understanding of the world and all modern technology, science, medicine etc. will be non existent.

And a scientific explanation exists for the formation of uranium, same as the explanation for why clouds from and rainfall happens etc. and it isn't "God did it" because that answer never gets anyone anywhere.

It's not rocket science.
Certain stories/names in the bible were adapted from somewhere or events that actually happened. Same way the Spider-Man movie is based in a real location, (New York) but we can't conclude that a man who shoots spider webs and flies in the air exists.
But I don't expect much from folks who won't read the article but jump into conclusions that a donkey once talked simply because an inscription which contained a name was found.
It's only a brain dead mofo that'll believe a snake and donkey talked simply because a 2000 year old book said so.
