What a hillarious post!!!

You need to understand the concept of ethnic politics before writing like a dementia patient.

During the 60's and 70's, Igbo speaking ethnic groups located in the Niger Delta were keen on still remaining with the Igbos of the hinterland(Isuama),even after the war,the likes of Obi Wali wanted Ikwerre to be part of the proposed Imo state, but the Igbos of the hinterland who are known to be very proud didn't take him serious, same with Delta Igbos, and now that we are the goose that lays the golden egg you want us to say we are Igbo and join the South East..You must be funny!..We are okay where we are, because we know your agendas,it's better we continue developing Port Harcourt and Ali Ikwerre in general than join South East to be used and dumped later..After all even in Iboland, there are fake and real Igbos, and we don't want to be part of such quagmire..We are Ikwerres...Proudly Iwuruonha

The Eastern Region was an administrative region in Nigeria, dating back originally from the division of the colony Southern Nigeria in 1954. Its first capital was Calabar till 1967. The capital was later moved to Enugu in 1967.

The region was officially divided in 1967 into three new states, the East-Central State now south East, Rivers State and South-Eastern State now Cross river state. East-Central State had its capital at Enugu from 1967.

The discovery of coal by the colonialists led to the building of the Eastern Line railway to carry coal from the inland city to the port of Port Harcourt, a city created for this purpose located 151 miles (243 km) south. Can you tell me the mineral resource that was in Port Harcourt then? Coal mining started by mid-1915 and a railway line linking Enugu with the coast at what later became Port Harcourt was completed by the end of 1915. This was primarily for the transport of mined coal.

your account is very long, During creation of south south out of Eastern region, The now south East which you refer as Igbo hinterland were not carry along because is After returning from Aburi accord in Ghana that the region was divide into three by Yakubu Gowan. Do you forget that Enugu was made capital of Eastern region, when Yakubu Gowon caves out Eastern region capital of Calabar and commercial city of Port harcourt out of eastern region? Can you say that Igbo hinterland agitate for creating any part of Eastern region out of the region? There’s never a time military includes anyone from old Eastern region in creating of the south south region or in creating of states in today south East. The reason of creating out south South out of Eastern region is to block economic cities and sites that is already develop by Eastern region government through Eastern region Tax and economic expert.

The northern military believed that by doing so the Eastern region will stop agitates of independent. No military contact any Ikwere or any Igbo tribe in South south person in creating of the state later. They just add this Igbo tribe into the new region and ask them to deny their Igbo’s indentity through Ken Saro Wiwa. Do you remember what Abacha told saro wiwa before he was killed, He told him that he cannot allow him to sabotage him the way he was used to sabotage his Igbo brothers, go to history for confirmation.

Talking about oil, who told you that south East of Today don’t have oil, check where Anambra have boarder with river state and tell me what is the land, check all swamp in boarder between Igbo’s that cave into Ijaws region and Anambra, Imo and abia and tell me what is there. South East of today don’t need this government to tamper with deposited of in the land because the one they took from Ijaw region they are not doing anything with the money.

Technology is taken over the world no more oil, oil era is out of future, or do you believed information from this visionless government? So wise up and forget the oil. If you believed that north can continue to use you to get what they want good luck, but for others tribe like united Yoruba’s they can’t continue.

Ask Nigerians how far after 40 years they strip every Igbo man his hard earn money and gave him 20ponds to start life, they the Nigerians turn back to shout that Igbo’s have taken over all business in their cities and bought houses. This is to show Nigerians that a man with vision is stronger than one with power, resources and money without direction.

After 60 years of Independent and governing without Igbo’s how far? They the Nigerian even plants useless governors in Igbo land to help deny federal project that can create job to people of south east, yet the south eastern individuals are envy of other Nigerians in their exodus states engineer by federal government.

The north tell Ikwere man to deny his Igbo identify and also his fellow Igbo man and go after property they bought from Igwe-ocha people their brother in old Eastern state commercial city as engineer by Ken Saro Wiwa, but the world will see an Ikwere and others Igbo tribe in south south as capital fool if they are allow them self to be deceived second time to deny that they are not Igbo’s, if I may ask what is your indentify if not Igbo. Check if there’s anything as Ikwere, Ukwu-ani, Okpanam, Onitsha Ugbo, Asaba as tribe in Nigerian history, your Igbo as far Nigerian tribe is concerns. As I said I doff off my cap for the Yoruba’s that want to unity with their brother because the north can’t use them against their brothers.

Nigerian government may refuse to teach history in school, but there're many educated men that was born before Nigerian independent and they keep documented history for their children’s.

There are certain local governments where, due to close proximity and a thriving economy, may Yoruba from the SW have migrated to the area in search of greener pastures, some travel to Lagos, some travel North. Many Igbo live in Uyo, Kano, and Lagos, however that doesn't make those places Igboland.

There's no denying that there is a high presence of recent migrants from the SW, but Kwara is a northern state with mainly northern elements. Logically speaking, if these people were truly SW elements, they wouldn't allow themselves to be grouped into the North. This is just the reality.

S/West and North are Geographical terms and they don't denote any ethnic group.

You can learn about the ethnic demography of Kwara State by asking the citizens of the state across board or go to the State's website or better still live for sometime in the State.

^^^It's a boundary adjustment move NOT an attempt at seccession by the Yoruba from Nigeria. This demand has been on since the British colonial era when there was a transfer of parts of Yorubaland in the North to the West.

You don't know anything about Kwara and Ilorin people. I'm half Ilorin and I can tell you that most Ilorin Yoruba see themselves as pure Yorubas.

There are have been attempts by the Afonja family to take the throne back and many still see the King as a religious leaders.

Sarakis are not even from Kwara. They are from Ogun and Oyo. The question you should ask yourself is, how will a Fulani man named Bukola Saraki married a Christian from Ondo state. Gives his daughter out in marriage to a Christian from Ogun state.

Even the current governor of Kwara, Abdulrasak is married to a Christian woman from Lagos state.

One thing you need to understand about Ilorin people is that they are no different from any muslim from the south west. They are tolerant, practice core Yoruba traditions, have Yoruba mannerism and most of th eir elites are trained in Lagos.
^^^WORD! Governor Abdulrazak of Kwara's now late legal luminary and Ambassador father told The NEWS MAGAZINE that Oloye Olusola Saraki's father told him in Abidjan in the early 1960s that he is an indigene of Abeokuta but ONLY migrated to Ilorin for Quranic studies. Oloye Olusola Saraki's mother was from Iseyin in Oyo State. The article is still online! The British also CLEARLY stated in colonial documents that ILORIN is YORUBALAND. I have attached evidence below. The UN and WORLD COURT should be notified with this and other colonial documents.

There are many recent migrants who come for the economic benefit of Kwara, thus there are a high number of SW indigenes come speaking their language, but the same can be said of London, where a high number of immigrants bring their culture and language into a foreign land.

If you ask someone from the state they will proudly tell you they are middle belt, Muslims, and Northerners. This is their culture, let's respect them and not force an identity on them that they themselves reject. Let them lobby to become part of the SW and not do the speaking for them.

Even Saraki said he was a "Fulani man who learned Yoruba language." It's no different than Fulani who speak Hausa, they are just Fulani speaking a foreign language as their own.

Go and read History before you blabber nonsense about migration here,Who exactly migrated for the Economic benefits?Definitely not the Yoruba's but the Fulani

Can you tell me any part of Anambra that has boundary with Rivers State?

If you don't know say it out that you don't know, then i can even send you a map and also mention the names of the town and the history of the towns. But under argument i can't teach you. Mind you Anambra, Imo and Abia has oil in large quantity the same as Rivers state, Cross River,Bayelsa and the less oil state, have you not hear that oil deposited in lands 3 or 4 kilometers off shore is also much quantity as the same in ocean. why do you think North’s is seriously searching for oil around all small rivers in the north with believed that some oil must be deposited in the north in larger quantity as they live off shore of lake Chad? Which I consider nonsense because Lake and Ocean is not the same.

Have you asked why Abia, Anambra and Imo are among oil production state even though only Imo state get the allocation because of drilling and refineries at Egbema and Oguta t. Igbo's don't want FGN to tamper with oil deposited in igbo hinterland because the one they are taken from other region have never be accounted only stealing by elites. At the other hand federal government don't want to drill oil in Igboland because the government don't want to create anything that can employ and make money to be in the hand of Igbo's in their land.

Igbo's exodus in the name of business is engineering create by FGN of the north to make sure Igbo's live outside Igboland, and their vision matured because the puppet they plant as governors are working for their Northern masters. Do you think it cost must to revive river Niger port, which is in full function before civil war? Do you think is hard to revive Brutu sea port at bank of River Niger in Bayelsa? From Burutu to boarder between Anambra and river suppose to be Anambra state but the north do all this to block Igbo's by dividing one Igbo family along the river line of river Niger into River, Bayelsa, Delta and Anambra states. while Delta at the other side of the river Niger create to stretch to ocean thereby making one family that live at the two side of the river Niger to belong to 4 state with 1 great king in their ancestral home and kings in their new found state.

The funny thing is that there’s no how ship can go to northern Nigeria without passing through Burutu to Onitsha before proceeding to North through river Benue to rebuild Barow Port at Niger state. Instead of the north to make the ship roots right they decide to be bollowed more money and putting it to unending rail line from Lagos to north all to make sure that no international line pass through Igboland waters, but how long are Nigeria going to continue suffer because they want to block Igbos. The question to ask is: Did they really archive their aim? Did Igbo’s really blocked as they planed? Why is that Igbo’s are doing well in the exodus land as planed by FGN than in Igboland? Why it is that if there’s a Nigerian to celebrate in other part of the world he/she must be an Igbo before others? The truth is that you also hold yourself down when you try to pin someone down.

Have you asked why the north cave and block Anambra from stretching to ocean as it was during old Eastern region? By adding some families in Anambra to river state, and use Bayerser to complete the blockage. The truth is that oil time is fading away. Do you know where we have food basket of the nation during old Eastern Region? DO you think food was coming from to Eastern region then? As I said if you don’t know the border between Anambra and river say it I will tell you, but not when you argue that there’s no boarder.
