It was crazy me growing up with no fatherly love, but pain, punitive comments and actions.

Well, it is still crazy I made a difference.

Teenage years, hmmm.. there were a few crazy things I got involved in, but these two are most notable in my memory.

1. Some months before I gained admission into uni (I was 16), I was at my girlfriend's house when her father suddenly returned before the usual time. Till today, I still don't know how I managed to jump over their high fence into the next compound just to escape her stern lecturer father I used to hear about.
Luckily for me, a nice woman was in the next compound I jumped into. Perhaps it was because of my innocent baby face that made her not raise any alarm. She just asked me what happened and who was after me, and when I told her the story, she laughed then led me out of her compound. Her last words were, "oya be going, nor let toto put you for trouble u hear."

2. When I was in uni (about 18), I found myself in the right place at the wrong time and got arrested by two policemen who were doing undercover work trying to catch one well-known marijuana dealer. cheesy I'm laughing now, but it wasn't funny at all then.
Imagine trying to write a statement about my innocence and one policeman was busy trying to dictate to me what I should write inside my own statement.
NPF na mumu people I swear... grin

Bonus experience:
This one is quite funny.
Anyone who knows Uniport knows that the swimming pool at Abuja campus is an Olympic standard size. I honestly don't know the spirit that motivated me that day to go towards the deep-end when I was still in the process of learning how to swim.
Well needless to say, the amount of water I drank that day cannot be forgotten.

Craziest teenage years...

I was at home for almost a full year waiting for admission into the university. I think I was 16. That time here was good NEPA. I spent the time watching movies. Morning to evening. There was a time I was watching a movie and I passed out. No slept off o. I just went into a kind of trance for like an hour and then realised I was still in front of the TV.

Crazy right?
