This is what I call armchair statistics. I can't remember when anyone has approached me or anyone I know to collate such data. So I don't believe this report.
You are a zombie and a sycophant and so this is exactly what an Apc urchin would say.

I heard when you identify yourself as a supporter of Buhari in the market, they sell foodstuff cheap to you. Sometimes, they don't even collect money from you. Same thing with payment of transport fare, electricity bills, school fees, even fees for sick relatives in the hospital etc. Just tell them you are a buharist, you are good to go. It is only wailers and haters of the monumental strides of PMB that are suffering. grin grin

Una never see anything. grin.

grin. that's good..... after you chop that first loan finish, feel free to go and collect another one...

but on a serious note, Nigerians are passing through a state of abject penury.......you wey see food chop twice a day, thank your God because you no know wetin others dey pass through....price of food stuffs keeps rising like our national debts on a daily....no hope for the common man at all

na when I jam one woman with four children wey come buy three cups of garri on credit, na then my eyes almost shed tears......

people dey suffer on a low key,but the truth is that,"our leaders have failed us woefully...
How are things for you personally

2015 I shouted about Buhari but people refuse to listen. 2019 I drove to my village to vote but people refuse to change and I told them that 2023 people will be waiting for INEC as early as 5am to vote out APC. This is because hunger and suffering will increase. I can only visit Nigeria but that is not on my mind for now.
O Bros u dey outside?.
Remain there oooo.
People who voted Buhari were born in the eighties, nineties and votable age of early 2000s.
History of Buhari is such that a complex country like Nigeria shouldn't be handed over to Buhari.
Other leaders of Buharis grade like Obasanjo, Atiku, Jonathan mention them you can hardly tell their religion or ethnicity.
This is not same with Buhari even when he was not the president. Buhari best position is a senator representing his people and religion.
Nigerians are suffering. Everyone wants to run.
I am seriously blaming myself for investing heavily on a project here before the pandemic.
I would have left with my family.

Did you understand the report at all?

Those that are borrowing are doing so to get food to eat so they can survive first before they can even think of what to do to get income, and you think its there doing?

How to Get Affordable With Your Rice Purchase

Many like to buy a bag of rice, which actually is cheaper and better.

Instead of buying ₦900 congo of rice in which a bag is ₦28,800
Buying bag which is just ₦25,000 will save you alot that is specifically ₦3,800

But with the present economic situation of the country, even some few people that can afford to buy the 1 bag of Rice cannot

Nonsense bureau of statistics, howvcan you say only 6% of Nigerians have not worked since the covid lockdown?

When we have idiots keeping statistics for a country, that country is in trouble.

Invest in an environment where companies are folding up and laying off workers? Invest in an environment where you are to provide security, power, roads and other infrastructure by yourself for yourself?! Tell me you are not joking!

NBS is an independent government agency that simply collates facts obtained by carrying out surveys. You do not need to bring sentiment into their reporting or try to insinuate it is anything but the truth. The worst thing the APC can do is to try and bring bias into NBS; that would be the end for Nigeria because then it means we can never get good information to plan our national development. If the APC Govt. is doing well, the NBS will report it; they are unbiased.

Hmmm...I read through the comments on this thread and all of us actually believed this statistics from NBS.

Why Because it bothers on the state of the Nation and somehow appeals to our emotions...

Either true or false is another thing entirely..

What I am saying is, are we also going to accept if NBS says some millions of people have received Government palliatives

Do we have trust in NBS now Because we do condemn their statistics in the time past. grin grin

May God heal our land

All this loan companies are in for a long and rough ride.

How do you expect people who borrow money to feed to pay back the loan in this recession-depression?

Damn! The country is so messed up, I cry whenever I think about Nigeria with the statistics staring at me. God help your children even though they don't have sense.

I'm a kind of a respected person with no history of borrowing. I tried to borrow last week from friends, who I thought are very comfortable, and would rush to lend or dash me money at mere hearing of me in need of money, I was shocked when they confronted me with their sorry tales. I'm by far better than them.

I sent a message to a friend, who is a son of a respected traditional ruler, to lend me money; he went mute since then obviously to conceal the fact that a whole Prince has no spare cash.

A teacher working with the government, who owns a house, brought her phone to me to help her apply for loans from these loan apps just days ago. She must have borrowed from countless friends and relatives and is now ashamed.
What if they came up with those stories because they don't want to lend you money. It's not today,as far as borrowing money from people is concerned, they don't always have. Even if you catch them counting millions, they will bring up a story to tell you they can't lend you.
