I won't attribute the goal rush to absence of fans in English football stadiums. The goal rush chooses leagues to bless. It comes and goes. Sometimes, it does not last throughout the season, other times it does.

Last season, it visited the Italian league. It can transform a no-goal league into a goal-goal and multi-goal league.

fans absence cannot be ruled out completely because wen fans are there shouting, the concentration level of the players rarely drops.
