Today I want to clarify the difference between #copywriting and #content writing.

Most people feel, they are are the same but as a professional copywriter with about 24 months of writing different sales copy, email copies, proposals just to name a few.

I can categorically tell you there is a huge difference.

The major difference between #copywriting and content writing lies in the purpose or intent.

#Content writing is just writing used to tell prospects or customers about a brand or product, You don’t need your readers to take any action, you just want to inform them about something.

On the other hand, #copywriting is a form of writing aimed at achieving sales, in other words, copywriting is salesmanship in print.
In #copywriting there is a clear call to action, i.e you want the readers to take a particular action, either signup to your newsletter, call you for inquiry, or even buy your product.
