PHCN High Tariffs, When Will This Madness End ? by Fortunehunter(m): 9:21pm On Oct 11, 2020
My experience with Phcn in this month of October 2020 is so frustrating. imagine that a civil servant like me who is finding it difficult to get paid of my monthly minimum wage of #30,000 living in Lagos and coupled with a lot of other challenges of transportation to work and catering for my kids and other needs being handed over a light bill of #21,000 for the 2bedrooms apartment, when I don't even have a working television for the past six months and since two years I parked into the street of I do no have any refrigerator nor airs conditioner. what I use is only 2 fans and 4 bulbs 1 for parlour, 1 for each of the two rooms and 1 for the kitchen making it a total of 4 bulbs.

I have called on several locations for them to do proper evaluation in my house, but they keep posting me.

When I thought I had seen it all, I saw in this same street SALAWU LAWAL STREET, OLODI APAPA LAGOS, Six flats in a building where each of the tenants was given #75,000 for only this same month of October 2020. That was the time I really understood the meaning of the word "CALM DOWN"

Please , someone should help us to tell phcn that we are not running factories in our homes, they should fear God o !

I really need your help on what I should do next.

Of a truth my dear, I have been trying to get that but they said I must provide a land use charge of the compound where I live.

I needed to make efforts to pay the last land use charge of the compound by myself in order to have access to it, I have sent it for the past 3months now but no response yet. I am tired of the whole situation
