She has no business forgetting her daughter, the other baby mama has no right to be OP's daughter's primary caregiver while her biological mother is still alive. When the OP takes the case to the family court, the outcome will favour her more even in shared custody as against the man being in sole custody

He can't travel out of Nigeria alone with the toddler. If he is to travel with the second baby mama with the other child and OP's daughter, he would have to forge a birth certificate to reflect his name and the name of the second baby mama as the biological mother of OP's daughter for visa application. Even if they are granted visa and travels out, OP has the right to inform the embassy he tendered the forged birth certificate to of misrepresentation and kidnapping, the Embassy would communicate with the security agencies in the home country to track down the guy and the family he travelled with.

Remember the Davido and his baby mama saga years ago, despite the fame and wealth of Davido and his family, they were stopped at the airport on their way to Dubai with the baby without the consent of the child's biological mother and they were accused of trying to abduct his daughter from her mother. On Thursday my baby was handed over to me apparently her dad had ran away with her to edo state their state of origin. He was made to know that he would be charged for human trafficking and abduction if not resolved amicably... since Thursday I have carried My baby she didn’t recognize me has her mom but she knew am familiar. He dad brought her to me but he refused to bring her cloths and shoes only the one he ware her saying he left it in Benin lol that was a lie I know him too well. On the good side I have taken her to get some things over the weekend and I can’t just get enough of her “thank you mommy” “okay mommy” and so much kisses and hugs, meanwhile FiDA is still on him for his responsibility to the child that which am less concerned cus I work too and I get paid I will manage with her in anyway I can . To those who wished me bad and gave wicked advices to worsen my pain I pray someone you love feel a little of what I went through and they come crying to you and fill your ears and eyes with their pain, so you have a lil feel of what it felt like.. Just to be clear I didn’t date him cus of money cus he made it after our 2years of dating... I know what I did for him but only God saw everything..

Glad it ended well with you regaining custody of your daughter. If men who were once married to the mother of their child/children find it very difficult to get sole custody of the child/children, what chance do a baby daddy have?

When it comes to issues of a child's welfare , mothers should go through official process no matter how slow because gone are the days when traditions are easily used to cheat a mother out of her right of being the primary care giver of her children when she has the mental capacity to do so.

I hope after all has been settled and frayed nerves are calm, he can always visit his/your daughter when you are physically present as he can not wish you away neither can you wish him away as long as a child exists between you two.

I advised he does not cut ties with the child. because of the mother but send his child's upkeep through the bank for the purpose of evidence of non-neglect which would give him more grounds to rightfully insist on having his daughter spend time with him even if the mother goes to court. I put in hours at a child protection unit and regularly witness the drama of custody and upkeep between the fathers and the mothers.

There is another thread where a guy who has separated from his wife posted that the wife has denied him access to their son, I did encourage him to go to the social welfare in his state of residence and file his complaint, the wife would be forced to bring their son along.

It is most beneficial to a child that he/she is not tossed around because of the parents' irrational thoughts and behaviours.
