Year 2020 will go down in history as one of the chaotic and weird years in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, who are the recognized Leaders of this struggle for the purpose of command and control?

The plan was faulty from the start. A real war can never be fought without a leader. There must be a voice to follow. Else the opinions will be divided. Falz says sit at home, another person will say come out and die a hero. Which is the right thing actually?

this is the problem. People like him have no knowledge of how wars are fought. There is something called tactical retreat. And it is long overdue. There should have been a tactical retreat the moment we noticed thuggery and release of prisoners in the protest. You make it clear that we are not criminals, but protesters, then return with more force
FG made a great mistake. Watch out!

They are not cowards. This protest has sent a message to the government. Time to retreat plan again.
why wait for casualties before retreating? A fool does at last what the wise do the first time. I had always insisted that they retreated the moment they saw political thugs spoiling their image. It was time to go back to the drawing board and even make leaders.

Pls, how can one sensitize these gullible yorubas dt there's noffin like a joint/common cause in nigeria again? Ehn? How?

If at all there is a coallition, how else shd one sensitize them that going with d east as against the north is d worse of d two.

The moment those who have bn insulting and cursing the yorubas all of a sudden found a 'common' ground with them, I knew it was mission impossible, and its clearly playing out now!
Even the sincere (but highly myopic) social media influencers have raised the white flag but as expected, d 5th columnists who've never hidden their hatred for nigeria and Nigerians are braying for blood!

They've added a new twist: They want to liberate south (sw in disguise) of "internal colonization", and I asked one of them if they couldn't start from any of their 5 states!

Who will wake the yorubas up!

Man mi, the matter tire me OOOO!! Foolish Yorubas wil be up and down shouting #EndTinubu and #EndBuhari with these decietful and vindictive Igbos whose main aim is to cause peoblems for Yorubas and Hausa/Fulani they will forever see as their mortal enemies.

I challenge any of this delusional Yorubas to show me when and where Igbos have ever practiced the notion of charity beginning af home.

Is it in 1966 when their grandfathers brutally and gleefully slaughtered the leaders of others and spared their own?

Or is it today when they are asking for the head of Tinubu, Osinbajo, Buhari and other Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani leaders yet making no such demands of their own terrible and compromised leaders like Obiano, Peter Obi, Ikpeazu, Ugwuanyi et al.

Did Igbos not initially shun these protests with many even coming to Nairaland to encourage their people to stay away from "Yoruba protest"?
The opportunists only joined when they saw anarchy was looming and they felt an opportunity had arisen to help the "zoo" fall.

Nigeria is unravelling and things are tense. Certainly the protests have shown serious fault line and disaffection between the South and North of Nigeria. It is a time everyone, even those who love one Nigeria passionately, should agitate for change but still keep an eye on protecting their own regional interest.

Wee see Northerners pragmatic and silent. Igbos literally baying for the blood of all others but their own. The SS somewhat neutral. Only foolish Yorubas are busy acting foolishly and naively, at a critical time, pointing to the houses of their fathers and leaders for others to attack and destroy. Let us hope it does not end in tears for us because of these "liberal" yet ultimately very foolish Yorubas.

If protests stop now, we're returning to status quo, if not in worse shape...........and the whole exercise would become a sheer waste of time plus lives already lost. Be smart!.
Lolz! See we are not enemies to ourselves, let's get it we are fighting a common cause.

We've all seen what happened between last night and this morning. And I don't blame the protesters at all, everyone knows why they are out there and the pain they carry and the change they want, but it's sad.

I don't think this fight will end and we returning to any status quo, it's the beginning of something greater.

But again I say, we can only fight effectively if we are alive and well.

These people never said they are backing down, my emotions are running high too, but we still have to let our reasoning be clear.

Falz had said, that after curfew would be lifted, protesters in all states should go to only one single location as protest grounds so that they can't pin any hijacking happening anywhere else on the legit protesters and that's a plan.

But then he said this before last night happened. cry

So I hope you get me

You dey mind am. Bro what are your thoughts on these protests. Me sha I am impressed. I never thought I will see the day Nigerians will stand up for anything

Hello bro. I'm kinda, sorta impressed but not entirely. Nigerians have bigger problems than police brutality. Police brutality wouldn't exist if they had the right leaders with the right mentality. See how quickly they disbanded SARS and formed SWAT? As if na two days dem de take form that kind of unit. Smh.....In this regard nothing will ever change until they start supporting the right leaders and you and i know that will never happen. Hunger no go let them see road. This is the same thread where you see NLs praising Buhari like he is the second coming. Now if this was a protest about elections and how it is always rigged i'd be impressed.

Understood.

But see video below, that's COVID-19 palliatives hidden away by sweet talking politicians while people starve to death.

That's why I'll never dampen the spirit of anyone no matter what..........

Nigerian leaders are very wicked!!.
