APC - Now We See The True Colour! by Cantonese: 8:00am On Oct 21, 2020
When in 2014 certain powerful Nigerian politicians woke up to resist GEJ and preyed on gullible Nigerians deceiving them that GEJ was the problem of the nation, none of them envisaged such a situation as we have experienced since 2015.

Various deceptive promises were made and our youths took it upon themselves to ensure with the APC broom that GEJ was swept out of power. Nigerians at every policy sommersault of this government have been told that PDP brought us to this point and unfortunately in their bewitched mood have believed every word and yet have kept voting APC. We have never experienced increase in fuel rates and electricity tariffs in one day. It happened under this government in a year when other countries are struggling to ease the economic hardships their people have faced.

Last night at Lekki showed the hypocrisy, pretences and the true character of intolerance of our government with the violent killing of innocent citizens.

Before they took over power this government instigated and incited the citizens against GEJ and got away with it. Today that same measure with which they measured against GEJ has been meted out to them and they tell us that "no responsible government can fold its arms and watch". We clearly remember that GEJ folded his arms and watched while the present leadership turned the nation upside down protesting against corruption and hardship during the GEJ years.

Under this present government we have been termed the poverty capital of the world. Right under their noses life has become very hard, ruthless and unbearable. Our youths have been termed "lazy". Now they have chosen to take their destinies in their hands and the repayment for voting APC is intolerance and killing.

To some of our youths it is shame on you for continously voting these people to lead. Democracy gives us the opportunity to review leaderships and effect changes where neccesary using our votes. A lot of our foolish youths have mortgaged their rights and consciences by receiving pittances from those greedy politicians and voting in their favour. Today potentially innocent youths have been murdered because of the shortsightedness and stupidity of some of our youths. The irresponsible thugs that decent youths are out there fighting for are the same used by politicians to snatch ballot boxes and perpetuate themselves in power. Shame on them all. They are the same ones who rather than simply carry placards have been burning down police stations and prison yards to free their criminal friends.

The old politicians have told us that power is not given on a platter of gold. They tell us stories of how as youths they fought to get where they are presently. Our once peaceful youths now are demanding for true change and not the fake one promised before 2015. Now we can see our youths out there fighting for that power which we were told would not come on a platter of gold. Government has sent soldiers to kill them. What a government!

Across this nation we hear and see our youths asking for change. The government is challenged with boko haram and herdsmen. Will the government be able to take on the youths too? We now see the rest of the world showing interest in the situation.

APC what have we done wrong?
