How can you give hate and expect love.
Now you call us THUGS.
You have been killing and intimidating us for years, you call us thugs.
You shoot at us while we throw stones, you call us thugs.
You have been embezzling our money for years, you call us thugs.
You have been mobilizing the youths and giving them guns for elections, you call us thugs.
You have been collecting huge salaries while we have no job, you call us thugs.
You drive expensive cars with our money while we struggle to eat, you call us thugs.
You send your children to expensive schools outside the country while we still beg for the shit schools here, you call us thugs.
WHO IS THE REAL THUG HERE.
We are the HATE you give.
The Protest
What started as a peaceful protest has turned to something else, whose fault is it?
It started as #EndSars protest, it didn't take long for people to realize that the issue is bad governance.
Can a bad government really #reformThePolice.
At a point we were requesting for the president to address the nation, but that was too much of a task for him, but during election he would travel the whole state for people to vote for him.
What would it take for him to give 30mins, to address the nation, maybe he prefers travelling to kano over that.
The Police
You are innocent until proven guilty. But with Nigeria Police, You are guilty until proven innocent.
Now it seems that "the police is not your friend".
What is the criteria they have to meet before they are allowed to handle gun. Why will a police with gun be taking weed(a contraband) even in public. They love intemidation.
When you look at the police you see 60 years of bad governance. They are so unprofessional, not well groomed and no respect for the job or there country.
Message to the Youth
I am happy to be born to a generation who stand for there right. What we started as a peaceful protest has turned violent. We are protesting against killing us and they gave us more killings. People have lost loved ones, brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. We live in a country that don't want us to succeed. Ordinary iPhone is a crime. If you are young and wealthy you are automatically seen as a fraudster. While the real fraudster are embezzling public funds and killing us.
We should never give up, we should stand up for what is right, we should strive to make this country a better place. Our father(leaders) have failed us, we should never fail our self, never give up hope. We should be together in this fight for a better Nigeria. REMEMBER, the next generation greatly depends on us. The lives we lost shall never be vain.
Message to Nigeria
We cannot fight 60 years corruption in a day or two, it will take time. We should be excercise patience. The government have failed us, but look at it the other way we put them there. We should take this country back through the next election. We need to reduce the cost of governance in Nigeria.A corruption free country where a common youth can get things on merit. A good salary structure for the police, so as to attract graduates. You need to have some quality education and a high level of social awareness for you to carry gun in the nigerian police #stopGivingInsanePeopleGuns.
We will achieve our aim if we have a common goal #betterNigeria
