They will not talk at first, both parties will access damages and be calculating how to tackle you.(this happens when they know they were at fault or both of you at fault.

The next thing they will bring phone out and start making calls. Some will be shouting so that you will hear them calling “someone” make fear for catch you grin

While some will actually call their “geng”, others will fake the call just to make you behave yourself grin

After making their imaginary calls they’ll meet you and greet you first like a gentle man. Then English will start, it’s only on accident scene I know we all can speak English either good or bad, it must be English. It makes you look and sound responsible grin. then they’ll start looking for sympathizers to put mouth for the matter. After much broken and shattered English, one of the party will switch to pidgin, they do this to reduce their social status so that you will pity them. Lol. Last last they will still settle the matter either ways.

God help you if you have a good heart, after you hear touching stories you’ll be forced to let go even if they were at fault. And still think of a way to help them.

For the one with money, a this ceremony is not necessary. What they do is if I got u, come out..apologise ..access the situation. Exchange phone numbers or they both drive to the nearest mechanic..pay the estimate and zoom off
May the spirit of poverty end in Nigeria amen

Maybe to the poverty minded individual or one with issues, that might be the norm, to gentlemen and people with character, the normal scenario is, to exit the vehicle, check on passengers (if any) welfare, survey the damage, determine whose at fault, then you conclude on the repair, exchange numbers or take it to a nearby workshop for repairs. All this shouldn't take more than 10mins at most That's how it's done
Some would just be there arguing and causing unnecessary holdup with their cars.
