Active Five Education Foundation (Active5) is a non-governmental organisation. Among many other objectives, our main objective is to source for funds to SEND POOR CHILDREN TO SCHOOL from primary to university.

According to United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), one in every five of the world’s out-of-school children is in Nigeria. Even though primary education is officially free and compulsory, about 13.5 million children in Nigeria are not in school. Many of whom are a menace to society. Through Active5, you can help a child drop from these statistics.

SLOGAN: SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL.

VISION
Our vision is to send 4,000 indigent children to school and give vocational skills to another 1,000 every five years.

MISSION
Our mission is to give a brighter future to indigent children and make our society more conducive for all by educating the lower ranks of our society.

OBJECTIVES
1. Give educational scholarships from primary to university to indigent children in Nigeria.
2. Give skill acquisition scholarships to youths.
3. Give educational grants to Nigerian students in public schools.
4. Repair, renovate, build and furnish classroom blocks for public primary and secondary schools in Nigeria.
5. Create awareness for girl child education in Nigeria.
6. Establishment of free private schools.
7. Recognise individuals and corporate organizations for their contributions to education in Nigeria.

SOURCES OF FUNDING
1. Grants
2. Donations
3. Membership Registration

HOW IT WORKS
1. Individuals who love to make an impact in the lives of these poor children joins us with a ₦5,000 membership fee.
2. With Active5 support, members raise some amount enough for primary school scholarship and nominate a poor child they know does not go to school.
3. An education bank account will be opened for the child and the scholarship amount paid into the bank account.
4. Active supervisor and a coordinator in constant contact with the child's guardian and the member/donor who nominated the child will provide all the child need to go to school.
5. If the member remains with Active5 and keeps raising more funds, the child can then go to secondary school and of course university.

HOW A MEMBER CAN RAISE THE FUNDS
There are two ways a member can raise the funds for the child they want to nominate.
1. Donations: A member can solicit for donations from friends, family, colleagues or even member of the public for support. The total of such donation is put into the member's account for the scholarship.
2. Membership Introduction: A member can refer other new members to join Active5 and the fee the new member pays will also be put into the member's account. A small percentage of this membership fee is put aside to support the referrer(s) using an affiliate system.

EARNING WITH ACTIVE5?
We have set up an affiliate system to enable our members to earn a small percentage of the membership fee to support them raise the scholarship fund.
