.Dr. Chidi Lloyd, on Friday, 30th October, 2020, in the company of his wife, Mrs Adanma Chidi-Lloyd and father-in-law, Chief Omereji, met with the family of Hon. M. O. Chinda in Ozuoba Town for total reconciliation.

Those present at the occasion which was moderated by Sir Evans Chindah, include the PDP state Deputy Chairman, Hon. Aaron Chukuemeka JP, the PDP State Treasurer, Hon. Mrs. Blessing Amadi, Leader, PDP Obio/Akpor Constituency 2, Elder Lawrence Amadioha, JP, the Chairman Emouha LGA Hon. Tom Aliezi, President, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and Principal Partner, Emma Wike & Partners, Chief ESV Emma Okas Wike, President, PDP National Ex-Councillors Forum and Chairman, Rumuepirikom Town Council, Prince Weliwosu, Hon. Francis Amadi, Chief Dr Anugbum Onuohua, HRH Eze Amaewhule Barry Opara-Owabie, JP, Nye-nwe-eli Rumuepirikom, The Vicar of St. Michael's (Anglican) church, Ozuoba Parish, Rev. Canon Chukwujekwu Okoli, HRM Amb. Dr. Samuel Ejims Wopara, the Paramount ruler of Rumuobiakani community, amongst other notable dignitaries.

Hon. Aaron Chukuemeka JP, Prince Weliwosu and Chief ESV Okas Wike stood on behalf of Dr. Chidi Lloyd. They pleaded with the family of Hon. M. O Chinda, to forgive Dr. Chidi Lloyd for the unfortunate event that took place at the Assembly complex on the 9th of July, 2013. They made presentations of drinks and cow as they prayed the family for leniency.

The father of Hon. M. O Chinda, Chief John Chinda, commended Dr. Chidi Lloyd for seeking peace. He, on behalf of the family, accepted the items and assented to their plea. He also thanked God that they were all alive to witness the reconciliation.

Elder Lawrence Amadiohia, JP gave thanks to God and commended Governor Wike for the role he played during the period by swiftly flying Hon. Chinda to the UK for medical treatment. He conveyed the happiness of the people of Ozuoba and Akpor Kingdom at large.
He then traditionally opened his hands of peace towards Dr Chidi Lloyd and his wife.

HRM Eze Ejims, a first cousin of Hon. M.O. Chinda, validated the stand of the family to allow peace to reign.

Rev. Canon Okoli stated that Dr Chidi Lloyd took the right step to seek peace, and urged the Chinda family to genuinely open their hearts to peace and forgiveness because Rivers State needs peace. He concluded by praying for both families.

Highpoint of the occasion was the acceptance of the peace moves amid happiness and loud ovation.

They pleaded with the family of Hon. M. O Chinda, to forgive Dr. Chidi Lloyd for the unfortunate event that took place at the Assembly complex on the 9th of July, 2013.

Guess the drinks and cow would have restored him back to life of he had been dispatched to the great beyond by that thug.
