Gombe State Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr Aishatu Umar Maigari has lost three of her brothers to a ghastly motor accident.

IgbereTV gathered that the motor accident occurred on Saturday, October 31, along Gombe-Kano road on their way to Kano.

The deceased were: Usman Umar Maigari, 30; Al’amin Sani Abdulkadir, 30 and Abdulkadir Umar Maigari, 27.

The were buried in Gombe on Sunday, November 1, according to Islamic rites.

Meanwhile, Gombe Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with the Commissioner and her family over the loss.

The Governor, in a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Ismaila Uba Misilli, lamented the unfortunate loss of ''these promising lives at a time the state is tapping into the vast potentials of its vibrant young men and women for the progress and development of the state. ''

He said the loss was not only for their immediate family, but the state and the nation at large.

"Governor Yahaya, on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe state, extended his deepest condolences to their father; a seasoned administrator and elder statesman, Alhaji Umar Maigari, their sister, Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari who is the state Commissioner for Science, Technology and Innovation and the entire members of the Umar Maigari family over the huge loss, praying Almighty Allah to comfort them and grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus." the statement reads.

Hon. Commissioner Aisha Maigari Hashidu wrote on Facebook:

"INNALILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHI RAJIUN!

Commissioner, Dr. Aisha has lost her 2 blood brothers and 1 cousin brother in a motor accident today.

May jannatul firdausi bee their final destination."

Meanwhile, we have not forgotten Oyigbo people in Rivers State.


Let everybody know that angry youths in all states in southern Nigeria killed Police Officers and other uniform men, burnt Police stations, and government properties during the fall out of the #Endsars protest.


But only the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike called in the Nigerian military to help him carry out extrajudicial killing of Rivers State indigenes in Oyigbo, tagging them IPOB to draw support from Nigerians who hate IPOB.


The truth is, Nyesom Wike is using his power as Governor to fight his community battle against Oyigbo people in Rivers State, because Oyigbo people and Ikwerre people where Wike comes from have been in loggerhead for decades, so Wike used this opportunity to wipe their male youths off to further suppress them from rising up in future to challenge his Ikwerre community.


It is not about ipob like you are made to believe to win your support for Wike.


For those BLAMING Nnamdi Kanu who is in far away UK tweeting, if you blame Nnamdi Kanu for causing the destruction in Lagos, Rivers, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Oyo, Edo, Delta, etc, etc, it then means that Nnamdi Kanu is truly more powerful than the Nigerian government for him to command the whole southern youths to burn down government properties and also attack Police officers.


Angry youths of Oyigbo did the same thing angry youths at Fagba Lagos, Marina, Oyimbo Lagos, Abakaliki Ebonyi, Enugu, Benin, Warrington, Owerri, etc did by burning Police stations, killing Police Officers and burning and looting government properties and none of the Governors of these states invited the army except Wike and Lagos Governor Sanwo-olu who is now regretting his actions while Wike continued with his genocide against his own people.


Nigerian youths must learn to stand against injustice no matter who is involved. Injustice to one is injustice to all.


What is happening at Oyigbo right now is a genocide by Governor Wike and you must not bring curses upon your family and generation by directly or indirectly supporting the genocide going on now at Oyigbo Rivers State in the name of partisan politics or for any other rradon, you must comsidea human it first in all you do to avoid negative reward from the forces of nature against you.


Remember, Oyigbo is not in Imo or Abia or Anambra or Enugu or Ebonyi, Oyigbo is in Rivers State and home to most of Rivers State's crude oil and natural gas reserve yet they have been neglected for years just because they refused to deny that they are Igbo like some other SouthSouth communities did; a denial that only started during the civil war out of fear of federal force attack.
