Last night I slept on the couch and took in sips of hate
My lonely heart wondered about the room with so much rejection
I closed my eyes and gave freedom to the twin tears that awaited a blink
My heart was slaughtered and I tried to pick up the pieces left,
Hurriedly, I opened my eyes and stood up, I felt depression whisper my name.
Tunde had let my heart shatter!
I went up the stairs and picked up a book to ease the sinus ache in my head,
My stomach yearned to be cared,
My eyes read the book, pages by pages, I went on and stopped.
Races took place in my stomach again,
My heart scattered all around my body, the high pitched sound in my head continued in its unbefitting rhythm.
How was I going to start over?
My life is a mess!
Love that has been awarded with the unexplained happiness it brings has cost me pain now!
I am lost in pain!
My heart is broken!
