An American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, known professionally as Swae Lee, has revealed that a DNA test he did confirms that he is a Nigerian.

He wrote:

Did some research on myself � a lot is starting making more sense �� I’ll make a million AfroBeat dancehall songs if I want too , turn around and make a song to yodel too , and play the bongo drums if I please !! I’m a world translator a shaman fluent in the language of feeling and emotion #knowyourself

The rapper disclosed this in his Twitter page to display his DNA test results.
