It is a common phenomenon among humans to claim that a particular person is lucky than the other person. That is if one person achieves success we just tag it as luck. Before we go further, what is really luck?

Luck is the phenomenon and belief that defines the experience of notably positive, negative, or improbable events. ... Supernatural interpretations of luck consider it to be an attribute of a person or object or the result of a favourable or unfavourable view of a deity upon a person.

In a simplified definition success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions. From the above definition, luck is not something that anyone has control over. So why do some people get lucky at everything? It is merely, *opportunity meets preparedness.* That is, what you don't have control over meets what you can control.

So, the question is what do you have control over? You have control to master your occupation like there is no other one. It is aimed at you becoming the best in your field. It is for you to aim at knowing everything related to your field so that when the opportunity comes, you are already prepared. You won't be in the other camp who would have wished they took action.

So, are you prepared?

-Have you mastered all the Basic Accounting Software?

-Have you mastered the ERPs?

Have you mastered the different auditing Software?

Have you mastered Excel and Financial modelling which must-know for all Accountants?

Have you mastered Cloud Accounting Softwares?

Have you mastered how to do a Professional presentation with chats, graph, etc?

Do you know how to conduct research, organize your facts and presents them?

If your answer is yes, then you will always meet luck because you have paid your dues by investing in yourself. There is no aspect an opportunity wants to come in your field that you will not meet up with the criteria.

On the other hand, if it is still an infant knowledge you have, then be ready to receive the trash life gives you because of your unpreparedness.
