Was Mohamed a Moslem?
Mohamed never met Allah. He never heard directly from Allah. And he never spoke with Allah.

His encounter with an 'angel' left him confused. It took his first and only wife at that time and her cousin to tell Mohamed that what he saw was an angel. At some point he tried to commit suicide several times. It took the 'angel' to reassure him that he is the messenger of Allah.

In chapter 15:42 of the Koran it reads: "Say: Satan has no power over anyone except those who go astray, criminals, polytheists and evil doers.
But Mohamed was under the control of Satan not only to make him commit suicide but charmed by magic.

Mohamed Didn't Follow Islam
A true prophet should do what he teaches and says. Not so Mohamed.
Moslems can have ONLY 4 wives. Mohamed had over a dozen.
Any woman can offer herself to Mohamed but not so with other Moslems.
Mohamed never fasted like the other Moslems are expected to.
Mohamed never married like other Moslems are to follow. He prayed differently. He didn't do ablution as others were to do.
Mohamed was never circumcised.
Mohamed never practiced what he said - it was all meant for others.
Moslems are to stay away from women when they have their periods but not Mohamed. Aisha narrated how Mohamed didn't.
In Koran 2:222
"They ask you about menstruation. Say: “It is a state of impurity; so keep away from women in the state of menstruation, and do not approach them until they are cleansed. And when they are cleansed, then come to them as Allah has commanded you.”0 Truly, Allah loves those who abstain from evil and keep themselves pure."

Aisha said Mohamed would recline on her lap when she was menstruating and then recite the Koran - Mishkat-al-Masabih 548, Book 3, Hadith 244

Did Mohamed Follow Islam? Not as he prescribed for his followers. Yet he is supposed to be an example to be followed. But can Moslems really follow his examples? No. Because he prescribed one thing for them and lived another.

Imagine a prophet who dictates the rules of his religion to his followers yet he himself doesn't follow them.
Will you say that prophet is a follower of that religion?

Just one point:
Mohammed could never have been a Moslem. Why!?

Is it possible for a person to become a Moslem without reciting the Shahada? No!

Did Mohammed ever recite the Shahada?
I don't think so!

It will indeed be good for any Moslem to tell us if Mohamed ever said the shahada.

Of course.
The hadiths should be full of how Mohammed recited the shahada in seven different Arabic dialects

More things Moslems cannot do but Mohamed did:
Mohamed could marry, (or have intercourse), with a woman who verbally pronounces her dedication to him.

Mohamed could marry, without the presence (or permission) of a legal guardian.

Mohamed could marry, without a dowry.

Mohamed could marry (and have intercourse) during a state of ritual consecration and purification.

Mohamed could annul an oath he made to his wives.

If Mohamed looked at a woman (and desires her) THEN IT IS NECESSARY FOR HER HUSBAND TO DIVORCE HER AND FOR Mohamed TO MARRY HER.
