This guy fighting everybody.. from his benefactor to his lawmakers, and now NDDC and FG

Buhari made a stupid mistake supporting this fool

Imagine if Seyi Makinde goes to court to stop Lagos Ibadan standard guage line, or Obiano heading to court to stop 2nd Niger bridge, won't aboki move more projects to North

Am sure Akpabio, and Niger Delta Development Commission, would simply smile and continue chopping Edo State share of NDDC allocation while telling everyone , Obaseki's court order stopped him from doing anything

.

Honestly I don't expect any Ibo person to sound different from the way you commented

You have engaged the political discourse according to your IQ level

My simple advice, stop hating Obaseki, the hate will do him.nothing rather consume you.

He has simply proven that indeed EDO NO BE LAGOS, and sent Tinubu shamelessly back to bourdillon.

Stop hating him and.move on with your life.

Whom God has blessed, no man can curse.

The Governor have better plans for standard of works from Nddc

He should find a way to work with them. NDDC is a cesspit of corruption. They have robbed the south south for years.

Very good Obseki. Stop the NDDC. What is NDDC sef? Stop the nonsense NDDC.

But, you know what? The NDDC projects will be diverted to another state. Let's see who loses. Whether NDDC or Edo State people. Ugly idiot with ugly mind.

Good move. That is what it should be. Not FG and some senators choosing what to do and at the end just end up sharing money amongst themselves.

The Gov should do something about that Okpella road, that road is becoming a nightmare. i spent almost 2hours in traffic on that road last week, had to follow through bush path else would have spent up to 6hours.
some portion of the Ekpoma road too is bad and its causing traffic gridlock because of the trucks plying the road.

He does not have the powers to stop a federal agency from carrying out its legitimate functions in the state. Obaseki should stop behaving like a dictator. We are in a democracy and not an absolute monarchy.

Edo2020:”Igbere TV reports that on Friday, the governor ordered contractors of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to immediately stop executing projects or undertaking contracts in the state.

Obaseki said the state government is approaching the court to seek an order stopping the federal agency from embarking on any project in the state without the consent of the state’s Executive Council.”

Governor Obasiki is a loser in this case. Putting an end to projects under execution hurts the people of Edo state, not NDDC officials. These projects could include roads repair work or providing good drinking water, farm project, building of low-income housing scheme for the poor, and more.

The failure of this report not to include list of projects the governor has stopped is a bad journalism. Viewers need to know what types of projects are affected by this terrible decision governor Obasiki has made to plan ahead.

If governor Obasiki really wanted to help the people of Edo state, he should have allowed the work on these projects to continue and at the same time negotiate with NDDC officials on ways going forward.

I think governor Obasiki wants his own 10% before these contracts can go on, and that is a shame.

Typical of Nigerian ways of solving problems!

His dictatorial attitude may soon anger some quarters and they'll throw him out through the courts.
