Lol... Its my sister's choice ... That one nor concern me...

Its just the growing wave of feminism that seem to question every aspect of our culture...

One even told me that the whites don't pay bride price then why should we pay?

Don't ever take any feminist seriously. They brag on social media about how equal they are with men and other irrelevant jargons to deceive gullible ones. But compromise their beliefs when age starts telling on them.

It’s culture....

It’s not an act of selling the female child off...so feminist should go and sit down somewhere ...although, people accuse the Igbos of this becos their price is high....However, the Igbos belive its a sign of being capable as a man...u want to take care of their daughter .....prove it ..

Infact, some men like the high fees so they can show off...

Yorubas don’t ask for much...I’ve seen a wedding where they ddnt collect a pin....they belive asking for any uncomfortable fees is putting a price tag on their child....which is wrong

all tribes ask for other traditional marriage requirement like fruits, clothes and food etc..
