You say that God does not exist, right? This should make you rethink.
I'm from Igbo land, Awka in Anambra State. As many of you know, there's a deity in Awka called imoka.

This deity has many many that worships it. During the festival of this deity, many of our youths from Awka that are rich and are not based in Awka do return to celebrate. My mum though she is from Awka and she loves our culture still restricts my siblings and I from going to the festival ground ( A shrine). She rather we stay at home and watch the masquerades as they pass by and also sometimes it turns bloody and some are killed 'cause cultists (youth) appear that they to cause chaos.

One day I decided I must go to this festival and I saw many deformed people that serves this deity. Some have one eye, some have elephantiasis, some gushes spit and many dwarfs. They said the deity is very strict and punishes those that serves it if they do what it doesn't approve.

Now, there's no scientific explanation to this. The deity was real and is spiritual and I tell you, no one doubts it's capabilities even the pastors and priests in our land do not doubt. So if someone now preaches to you that God exist and dwells in heaven, you doubt and say there's no God.
I can tell you in my village there are many deities, there was once a deity placed inside a stone and was kept under a tree ( udara tree ) for many years the tree was there likewise the stone and one day, a man took the stone and the tree dried mysteriously within a week and fell. A man in my village, he's land were snatched from him and those that sold his lands his father left for him claimed it was there's and the man made a public announcement that he went to the deities of the land for it to fight for him and within days the man that took his land died and his belly was stiff and raised like they act in movies, someone who commited atrocities.

I believe this deities are real but as Christians, we know they are false gods. And surprisingly some Atheist fears these gods an believe they are effective but wouldn't believe in God mainly because of Hell fire. The message of Jesus if for you to believe in him though you haven't seen for blessed are those who believes yet haven't seen.

My dear brothers, God exist and sadly many don't believe in him because of technology and science, God said that the devil will deceive the whole Earth and what do you think is happening today, so many unbelievers, many that believed and has fallen, so many deities and religions. Devil is deceiving the whole World as we were told. Save yourself while you still can before it will be late. God bless us all.

How did you rule out the vagaries of natural circumstances or the wilful acts of man either to introduce disease vectors or poisons to the so called victims?

How do you explain the tree getting dried up within ONE WEEK after the stone was removed from it? Why didn't that vagary occur before then or long after? What are the chances of releasing disease vectors or poisons to the victim after claiming that he summoned a deity?

It's not for me to explain anything, you are attributing things to gods and I am asking you how you eliminated these other likely causes. A man said he invoked a god and that's all you know?

The use of certain tools towards self-transformation makes it possible for occultists to do certain things.
Although there are things that scientists have described as aliens,it's impossible for NOTHING to exist.
So,ANYTHING can exist in infinite forms.

If you refute a claim, you should make sure that that claim doesn't make sense before you make your point. While those causes are possible, the question is why they had to happen when those activities were carried out. What if someone (not necessarily the one who summoned the god) actually poisoned the victim, the question is why did it happen when the god was summoned? There are many phenomena that science can't explain till date, yet you believe them. Just because there's no scientific evidence for this one, you decided to refute it at first thought.

I didn't refute any claim, I asked you questions. You want me to accept your explanation for these occurrences but you are not willing to answer simple questions? It doesn't work that way. Answer the questions, may be your explanation will hold up or may be it won't.

what type of natural event can occur? Whereas I said the deity is strict with those that worships it, when and if they do something it does not approve of, the deformities are the consequences which many of the servants in that one shrine are suffering from

How do you know it's the deity that did it and not a random chance event or even a natural history of disease in the family of the afflicted?

In a nutshell, OP is like Atheists say there is no god but there is god in my village who has a lot of deformed worshippers therefore he must be real.

The god in my village must be real because my villagers fear him. Although I believe he is a fake god because that's what christianity tells me but he is also real.

I recall I asked you three questions from my first post which you blatantly ignored, stating that you have nothing to explain. Those questions form the basis for what I believe in this case. If you can't answer my questions, why should I answer yours?

I said that the possibilities you stated cannot be ruled out, but then again, you seem to have concluded that those are the only possible causes when there's no evidence for that. Now, in the absence of an evidence to those possible causes, I have to believe in the claim. So how do you expect me to believe otherwise if you can't answer my questions?

You said nothing of the sort, maybe you should go back and read what you wrote.

How is that a good way to know what to believe? You'll believe any explanation you are given until you get a different explanation? So how do you tell the difference between explanations?

I thought I said something of that sort, my bad.

It's easy for me to believe because I already believe in the spiritual. However, that doesn't mean I should believe everything I hear or read. I could easily refute the claims, but on what basis if the story is true? The questions I asked favour my belief. Except there's a logical explanation to demystify that, you can't expect me to believe otherwise.

How about not believing until you have good evidence to know if something is actually true or false.

Good evidence is evidence that points to a certain conclusion to the exclusion of all others. If you say you saw me kill someone but someone else reports a different person as the killer then we don't have good evidence yet, the evidence as to exclusively point to me as the killer.

It may not be good enough for you especially if it will hurt you, like the case of FG vs lekkiprotesters. If i witnessed you do it, do i need extra outer evidence?

Have the people on your list gone to Jesus for cure or they are loving the disease? This is part of what one gets when he jumps into a discuss without knowing or properly observing the context.
