The only way to overcome fear is to face it. However, it might not be easy especially if you have to deal with a particular trauma in your life. Fear is a normal reaction that warns your body to be careful.

When fear becomes a pattern in your life, it becomes a problem. Also, when fear leaves you cowering and sick, don’t try to push it away. It is high time you faced it. So, how do you deal with fear?

First, you need to learn more about your fear. What makes you afraid when you are supposed to be calm? You can’t overcome a fear that remains hidden in your subconscious. So, the awareness of your fear helps you to overcome it. It also gives you a better idea of how to face it.

Second, use your imagination positively. Most times, you find yourself in the realm of imagination. Your imagination can magnify your fears, and making your situation worse than it actually is. Imagination gives room for creativity so, purposely use your imagination to overcome your fear instead of instigating them.
