*20 Things I realized living in Dubai , UAE* .

1: You can enter UAE with 3 months tourist or visit and still work with it and the company will later do 2 years employment/ working visa for you if you are lucky to get job before your 3 months visa expired.

2: Dubai , UAE is an expensive place to live due to only Accommodation/ house rent most companies provides Accommodation for their workers that makes it easier for them.
3 : Fridays is weekend / off day throughout UAE except other public holidays.
4: Nothing is free in UAE ,even your countrymen will extort you before getting you job or before helping you to find accomodation or rented apartment.
5 : African and Nigerian people sell job to their people over there.
No paddy for jungle ,if you don't have money at hand to buy the job ,you will stressed a lot by distributing curriculum vitae ( CV) from one company to another .It takes only luck for one to get the job sonetimes .
Though the job opportunity is free there but those unregistered African agents collecting money for the job before they took you in or there.
6 : Prostitution , Alcohol drinking , Cohabitation of unmarried couples is forbidden and illegal in UAE before , but my African people especially Nigerians take it as business over there.
But recently they have legalised cohabitation of unmarried couple and alcohol in some public places who have license.
7 : Beach And Cloud Seeding ( Artificial Rain )
Most of the tourist attractions in UAE are artificial or man-made including
***Beach .
***Cloud Seeding: ( Artificial Rain ,they does that by flying Aircraft to sprinkles or shoots salt flares into the cloud to enhance rainfall.
8 : The country is called United Arab Emirates (UAE) and its capital is Abu Dhabi but mostly people called it Dubai not knowing Dubai is just like Lagos ,one state out of the 7 states in UAE.
9 : UAE is a very beautiful place or county to live.
Every states in UAE has its own beauty and functions. For instance Abu Dhabi is like Abuja ,it's Administrative city.
Dubai is an economic and tourist city of UAE like Lagos.
Sharjah is a residential city populated by foreigners and expatriates.
Ummul Al Quwain is a New Industrial Town and others.
10 : UAE consists of 7 states ruled or governed by hereditary emir or king,who together form the Federal Supreme Council.
While King of Abu Dhabi is the President.
11: UAE consists of 7 states namely;
***Abu Dhabi
***Dubai ***Sharjah
*** Ajman*** Al Ain.
*** Ras Al Khaimah.
*** Fujairah
*** Ummul Al Quwain.
12 : Foreigners ,that is expatriates and tourist from other nationals higher than the real local or national of UAE.
13 : If you travel to UAE and never tasted their local cuisine ,you really missed alot. Foods like ;Mutton Biryani,
Paratha and Chai,
Chapatti .
14: But the funniest thing was that if the Asians or Arab over there heard the name Nigeria ....
Don't let me say it ...
15 : Most of the nationals populated the country are Asians,Arabs ,Africans and other nationals.
16: What comes to your mind when you heard the name Dubai is that only billionaires lives there ,don't let me deceive you, UAE have higher class,the billionaires,middle class and the lower class.
They even have poor people but most of the poor ones are mostly illegal immigrants from Asian countries beside that have no papers.
17: Security is very tight and their police is really working ,CCTV camera does most of the police work over there.
18: UAE made life easy for their citizens and other nationals over there ,apart from the expensive house rent or accommodation starting from ;
***Single Room : 1500AED( per month) # 150,000 In Naira.
*** Partition : 1000 AED per month ( #100,000 in naira)
***Bedspace 500 AED per month ( #50,000).
Every other things are very cheap and affordable.
19 They generated their income from crude oil ,gold ,real estates, airlines, Malls, industries, tourism and others .
20: They are the owners of Emirate Airlines, Etihad Airways, Fly Dubai and football club in England.
Seeing is believing ,you too can travel to Dubai to explore the with just 4500 AED ( #450,000 ) and above both visa and ticket.

Exchange rate is almost 140 naira for one UAE dirams now
