If she had gotten the exact material for the Tailor, maybe the tailor would have sew the exact style for her.
She should stop complaining because both of them erred.

This is one of the reasons I hardly patronise these fvcking so-called fashion designers, unless on aso-ebi things......I wear more of casuals and already made clothes so I don't have any business with them.

A customer who asked a tailor to make her a dress was left disappointed at what was delivered, Reports.

The woman shared a photo of the dress she ordered and what was delivered.

She explained that a friend introduced her to the tailor who then sent her 5 dresses to choose from. She chose one and the tailor charged her 70,000 Naira.

She haggled down to 65,000 Naira and made payment for the dress.

However, the dress was not ready on time for her birthday. When it finally came, it was nothing like what she ordered.

The Twitter user was told that she probably ordered an inferior material but she explained that the tailor handled everything, including sourcing the material for the dress.

She went on to share videos to show how the finishing was.

She added that she asked the tailor to keep 25,000 Naira and make a refund of 40,000 and she'll return the dress, but the tailor refused.

Like seriously, some tailors are just all about the money and have zero creativity. And Nigerian Government want us to patronize made in Nigeria creators. I know a Fashion Designer who would have charged her no more than 15K, and still churned out exactly what she ordered for.

She should have ordered from Aliexpress cos there are very beautiful dresses that goes for a quarter of what she paid.

Since you have the bank details, u can talk to the bank and they will help you fetch the criminal. It will only take time.

You don't give designs like this to tailors...you give them to fashion designers.You must have seen some outfits the person has sewn before you tell them to sew for you.

I think the tailor did an excellent job!! ... you pay peanuts... what do you expect.

If you wanted this exact style, then maybe you should have paid the person who made the dress originally rather than give it to a “dua dua” to copy!
