51% share of a company the southern rich men have refused to build?

What's stopping southern moneybags from doing this?
Do you know how many percentage Nigeria government takes via foreign oil companies like shell, Agip, total etc when they engage in drilling of crude oil?
You think it is your resource or you think you can use what does not belong to you.
I pity him sha, when those militants engage his refinery if he refuse to settle them. Why can't he build it up north.

What is stopping BUA from siting the Refinery in Kano his own state...??

You can see why Innoson refused to come to Kaduna even when 100 hectare was given to him free of charge by Elrufai

What is stopping Shell, Agip, Chevron in citing their activities in their various countries?

Think you have a balanced sense of judgment here.
BUA and his Oyibo friend should not exceed 49% stake of the Refinery. We don't want Hisbah terrorists hovering around Uyo trying to protect their Uncles investment in 50yrs from now
This kind of investment is not owned byone man alone, bua is just a promoter...in 50 years time fossil fuel might be useless .Before then bua would have recovered its investment.

How is this news more important than a southerner who has just been demoted and his aid subjected to 3 years of imprison with hard labor for the crime of informing the nation that it's not as if they aren't trying their best to prosecute the war on terrorism but that boko haram having sufficient weapon is making it frustrating their operation which underpowered with archaic weaponry and lack of necessary firepower.

In the other news where elrufai just lied he is frustrated

Fulanis are liars.

Why is not just because Fulani means

F orceful
U tilisation of
L ies
A gainst
N ative
I ndigenes

But because they are masters at the manipulation of truth, and usage of information to confuse, convince and manipulate native indigenes to do their bidding. Is this not the same landless Fulani jihadist who in 2012 twitted that:

"We will write this for all to read. Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes."

Everyone do not be deceived with their confusion of words.

Don't get caught in their web of propaganda which is meant to confuse everyone such as the deliberate usage to separate unknown gunmen from bandits and herdsmen and libyan terrorists, they are all one and the same landless Fulani black arab jihadists who brought islam to this mere geographic expression which Flora Shaw the then girlfriend of Lugard named Nigeria.

Nigeria is and never was ours.

Our forefather weren't consulted nor consent sough before imposing the pseudo identity on us.

Note that every tribe have been existing and co-existing on their ancestral land as an, or under an ethnic nationality for zillions of years before the Europeans came to carve these artificial boundaries we call countries in West Africa to serve their imperial greed, and long before the Arabs too came in the form Berbers, Tuaregs, Bedouins and Fulanis came with yislam to forcefully convert natives in the north into their religion of bloodshed and set up their emirate on them by force of relentless jihad wars which is still been perpetrated by boko haram till date.

Wake up native people. Nigeria has expired since 2014 after 100 years amalgamation of an unholy union of forceful marriage between indigenous blacks who for every attempt to move forward, the oligarchs of the emirate core north with their greedy and compromising stooges and agents in the south gallops them into backward.

Continue with ur lies, God will judge you accordingly

Here is Quran 8:39

And fight with them until there is no more persecution (fitnah) and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do [Quran 8:39]

I think Dangote and Rabiu came to this game late.
Nigeria should have had a working refinery more than ten years ago

It's now the world is moving away from oil.
Hope they break even.

But the future is technology, creativity and innovation.
Anyone that wants to bet big in the future should look into those.

My problem is with the Southerners who mouthed every time that Northerners are reaping them off and in fact, they’re parasites.

Why the likes of Odili, Duke, Obi and host of billionaires in the South-South are not taking advantage of oil business in their domain by partnering and run a private refineries to employ their people and make money?

Why does it have to be the Northern investors in Imo, Akwa-Ibom? In few years, we will be complaining how they have taking over Oil business in the South.

Where are the Economists from the South who come on TV shows every time displaying theoretical economic applications and boasting their high literacy over North?

The reason is simply because it is not free money and it takes hardwork. Our Southern brothers want free money devoid of any hardworking and accountability. Akwa-Ibom is the largest Oil producer in Nigeria. This BUA guy understands the volatility in that region but still staking his neck because the numbers is good for business profitability. The indigenes are sleeping now but will wake up in misery.

Nice development, I love the fact that Dangote would have a competitor in the refining sector. Every economy needs competition to thrive, but our government prefer to give one person monopoly over a particular sector. See what has been happening with the price of cement... If na only Dangote go dey refine oil for this country, we go hear am!
. You are talking nonsense. The cement sector has 4 players so where is the dangote monopoly now.

I doubt any reasonable person would go north where they slaughter people like chicken, in the long run that region would be ravaged by famine according to statistics.
In time to come those investments by your top business men will crumble due to instability, wars.
