RIP to the young man. Imagine 43 people beeing slaughtered in the US. The world will come to a halt. All over facebook Nigerians will change their dp's to the US flag with the inscription I AM USA . It is a pity but then I would say that the North laid their beds the way they wanted it.

1: Support from Saudi Arabia to Northern Interests in both education and agriculture in millions of dollars seems ineffectual for the purpose it was set out for - (used to suppress the expression of the people and terrorism)

2: Citiziens support and praise for terrorist activities happening in other countries e.g. France, US, New Zealand, UK etc by illiterates and intelligent alike in Northern Nigeria with groups burning flags and praising terrorists for their actions without a word from the state governor, information minister or president. una dey sell market abi?

3: Inability and unwillingness to break-away from religious servitude not to Allah but to criminal elite orligarchy who are have weaponized poverty in the North.

The same Northern Governors Forum, MURIC and AREWA (AFC) who openly ellicited and supported the expulsion of Ndigbos from the North OR ELSE... somehow cannot find the gall to remove their impotent and incompetent leaders by vote or by public action.
Instead they voted in large numbers especially Borno residents who were under attack during the elections.

For their God and self interest.

They believe they are fighting for a just cause, by killing unbelievers and heretics and will be rewarded by their God for it in this world or the afterlife.

And they believe that if they can somehow cease power and impose their religious dogmatic views and laws on everyone, that their God will be pleased and a utopia, a world with no sin, or corruption in their view, will be achieved in this world.

"Their own self interest" in the sense that if they can topple this society and create a new one, then maybe atleast they can be on top of hierarchy and in charge in the new one they create.

It is quite sinister, as they can't/don't see themselves as evil, or their actions as unjust and criminal. They are driven by an ideology and delusion.
