please can anyone help me on how to properly upload my site to a webhost.i tried uploading the site through the control panel but when i entered the domain name in a browser, an index page appeared with a link to the site i uploaded.

Obvious you're a Noobie [No offense mean't ]

Just make sure you that the page which you intend to be your home page [the entry page into your site] is named with any of the following filenames:

1 index.htm [/b]or [b]index.html

index.asp or index.php [if you use any of those coding languages in your site]

2 default.htm [/b]or [b]default.html

default.php or default.asp [Again, thats if you use any of those coding languages in your site]

Re-upload your site after making sure you've properly reconciled your new link structure,

and Enjoy

Make sure you upload all your files into the 'www' folder in your control panel
