Yam dey do better on such lands. The challenge is harvesting them. They break easily.

I also planted mine during the lockdown and harvested last month.
One the yam leaves look very small and tiny, so I wanted to leave it and just forget about it but my wife encouraged me to harvest it. It turned out to be the biggest out of all the yams.
