I stopped using it before I get HBP due to their high charges and general incompetence

as for me i dey flog mtn with iwp or proximitron or privoxy, no time as i just dey blae dey go one time f.o.c

NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!! I demand a refund.

Mtn is a money sucking company, but they've got good speeds.

They experience a lot of downtime which is extremely frustrating

Just came in from looking for network round the office premises only for me to see this thread, so u can imagine how i feel right now. . Seriously whats up with them? No apologies or anything to show remorse. Anywhere we go indeed!!

I was impressed with the 3G network when I was in Nigeria december/january. Using download manager I was able to get what I wanted. What I don't like about it is the IP address too many people on one banned IP.

For me, I have been browsing free since 2006. (Don't ask me how) I can't remember when last I loaded credit to browse except for calls (Thank God for Magic Number). As long as Operamini, UCWEB, Ebuddy and all the handlers still exist, MTN BROWSING EXPERIENCE for me will always and I say again, always be coke-astic!

I lack words to describe my experience but i would attempt to  summarised them below:

Insipid telephony service
Rip-off Billing system
Pointless customer care
Non-Productive internet service

It is all round rip-off experience. Oh Lord let number portability commenced

Mtn is not the only company in Nigeria, that is taking us for granted,
by putting 50 people in a broad band meant for 8 or 10 people. I call
their customer care(hyconnect) almost every 2-3days if its not the phone
line, its the internet.
the part I hate most is when they thank you  for choosing mtn.

I have used cobranet and starcom I complained to people who advised
me to switch over to mtn. which I regretted wasting my money. MTN the
worst internet connection.

Well for the past 1year and 2months I have not payed for my BB, I'm using it free, fck Mtn

Initially wen I got ð Mtn, I personally used to brag about ð qualIty of ð speed plus 3G. But lately ð connectivity as bn hell. Already promised myself not to renew my subscription no more. It's quite Sad

Service quality is poor generally across all networks, the good thing is the operators have accepted that it is work in progress. I think people should chose internet providers based on their location and the strength of their signal in that location. I for one use the MTN fast link because it works perfectly in my neighbourhood.

MTN is actually crap. I was using their VGC net in my office and there was no day that went by without me calling their customer service. I got so frustrated i just had to change. I now use CYBERSPACE and believe you me, they are expensive, but no down time. I can travel as much as i want to, without fear of DOWNTIME!

Mtn  bb service is a pure scam! Poor service and incompetent assurance. Can't believe I was hooked to them for over a year despite †ђξ  epileptic service. Thank God I was able to muster †ђξ  courage to jump ship to etisalat  bb, and I must confess, its †ђξ  best thing to happen to my bb experience. Glo and etisalat edge are actually better than mtn 3g. Imagine!

mtn,glo,airtel,etibaba. cant really see who is better, all are just average isp. thats my opinion

they're all interested in one thing and that is to rip off subscribers.

Hell here. Downloading 1MB application on bb tour is taking forever. I stay @ surulere,  so leave area out of this.

I browse on EMTYHEN FOR FREE, IWPV2 n version 3.2.1 I download without limit.

Crucify mtn.that's all i hear.well point one network wus up the game.they call it 3g but in reality its a far cry.this telcos av become monsters built by our gov. Overtime.they lack de will to tame them.its a pity and de subscribers suffer for it.wats de role of ncc?i think that should be nex question.

Look, don't be deceived by that not-so-pretty-girl with brownish teath throwing acrobatic advert . . . Asking "what took him so long" of course the man understand that the document will not be ready on time, becuase the network is very bad. So, he decided to go home relax and watch african magic for 4hrs before coming back to collect the document, even at that . . .
