Now that Thanos has unfortunately won Chadwick Boseman aka T'Challa / Black Panther on and off screen how would the black panther proceed?

Michael B. Jordan aka N'Jadaka / Erik "Killmonger" Stevens: could return in a villain turned hero role.

It actually turned out he didn't die after being "fatally" stabbed by the black panther. T'Challa actually saved his life and holed him up somewhere and they eventually became friends sort off after Erik saw the folly of his ways. Their time together would explain T'Challa's occasionally unexplained absence from the kingdom. The only People who knows about this are his sister Shuri, now wife Nakia and the Avengers.

T'Challa is unfortunately killed in a mission after the Avengers End Game saga leaving the Wakandan kingdom vulnerable without a black panther king. A new threat is on the horizon seeking control of the mineral rich Wakanda .

Comes in the now beloved N'Jadaka as the new black panther having been the only other person with its power and also legitimate heir to the throne. He then teams up with the rest of the kingdom to defend themselves successfully.

And they all live happily ever after awaiting the next movie in the series.
