MTN has opened portal for NIN linkage with sim card.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that, MTN Nigeria,  in line with Sim linkage with National Identification Number (NIN) by the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari and all other network providers in Nigeria are currently working hard to ensure a smooth and easy means for the exercise.

MTN Nigeria disclosed the process of IN linkage with sim card in a statement on its official website, MTN Online which was sighted by NewsOne Nigeria.

The statement reads as thus; "To Capture Customer NIN details.

"Y’ello, Please Note . This is solely for the purpose of collating NIN pending when verification of the submitted NIN is completed through NCC/NIMC, the status of the NIN submitted is unverified; this means you might be required to visit again for verification/validation based on outcome of the verification exercise. Thank you!" the statement added.
