Security dog breeds are numerous...from German Shepherds to Rottweilers, Caucasians, to South African Boerboel, English Mastiff, etc. You can readily find these in Enugu.

However since you want to breed/make puppies and sell them, the quality of the bitch/female dog you get should be premium. I will suggest/advice you start off with a purebred bitch and don't compromise on studs. It might cost you a lot now but you will look back tomorrow and smile at the quality of puppies you have.

Sorry, I'm writing too much, but.... You should also try and read a lot about the particular breeds you like and know if they are best suited for you....temperament, space, grooming, feeding, medication, exercise, are things you can't overlook when getting a dog.

Being that you're a first-timer, a German Shepherd is ideal for you. They are easily trainable and security conscious.
