Often times, mothers in abusive marriages are usually advised to leave the marriage and the ones who refuses to leave are usually being scolded for remaining in the marriage.
When children from such homes especially the females gets to the marriage stage, the husband to be family tells thier son not to marry such a lady, making them suffer for what was actually beyond them. Meanwhile, these things are usually not usually being put into consideration by the separated parents before going into separation.
Opinions are welcomed..

It is a cycle. The spouses would think they have the only sensible alternative to the problem but it is not (always) so. The cycle breaks by an awareness from without »»»» within and it's terrible seeing the effects on the next generation.
I do not badu separations for a moment ; I wonder why it's even resorted to like it's the only thing that helps. In cases of violence, threat to life it is understood, but for cases where "I nor do again" is the slogan hmm wahala Dey o!

Look, we ought to hold those who influence us, ourselves, and those we've influenced accountable. I suspect we all so engrossed with the problems before us that we fail to see the harm we cause to others.
