Onyejepu Wins Public Servant of the Year 2020.

The General Manager Bureau of Public Procurement Board of Anambra State, Hon Melie Onyejepu has won the Public
Servant of the Year 2020.

Onyejepu was named the winner of the Public Servant category of the elaborate Leadership Excellence Award ceremony to honour Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in various walks of life, put together by a frontline media organization, Igbere TV, at Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Abuja.

Presenting the award to Onyejepu on behalf of the organizers, Hon Ifeanyi ibezi, a former member of the House of Representatives, described him as someone who had served Anambra State diligently with unequaled passion, expressing the hope of the people of Anambra State for more awards considering Onyejepu's stellar performance in the state. 

In his acceptance speech, Hon Onyejepu dedicated the award to the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano who had offered him a chance to serve his people. He thanked the Almighty God for the honor given to him, he also thanked the management of Igbere TV, and prayed that God would continue to bless them and lead them from strength to strength. 

He equally thanked all his lovely wife, family, his colleagues in office and friends for all the supports they have given to him over this period he has been in Government. 

Earlier in his remarks, the executive director of Igbere TV, the event organizers, Emeh James, had eulogised Hon Onyejepu and other recipients for distinguishing themselves in various works of life.

The event was held at Sheraton hotels & towers, Abuja, under the chairmanship of Prince Ned Nwoko, with Senator Dino Melaye as the keynote Speaker.

Some of the awardees who graced the oçcasion are DCP Abba Kyari, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of Omega Power Ministry, Prof Dr. Godwin Maduka, Senator Uba Sani, Hon Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, Prof Onwunari Abraham Georgewill, Senator Abiodun Olujimi, Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, Prof Babagana Umaru Zulum and host of others.
