Good

Our local ammunitions will go a long way in fighting insecurity and bandit menace in our nation.

Imagine “magun” (thunderbolt) which is a local ammunition is placed on the chibok and dapchi girls, all the abductors raping them would have been killed by now. We won’t have to clamor for “Bring Back Our Girls”, cos our girls would have come home by themselves.

Another scenario, Imagine all boarding school students in the north having “Afeeri” (invisible/disappearing charm), a local weapon, when the bandits or Boko Haram visiting their schools, they will all just disappear and no student will be kidnapped
i swear it loud, weed has killed this guy reasoning & sense.. of coordination,na wetin relate magun with firearms

Jesus or European God is not the source or reason for your wealth. Jesus told the wealthy to sell off their property and give it to the poor. You're here mocking the poor with your wealth intact. No Jesus Christ or God is responsible for putting people into wealthy family.

NMDC can't produce jack shit while DICON won't give Boko Haram a run for their NATO grade ammos lest to talk of firearms.

For the records, this rep member's name is Abdullahi Ibrahim. His motion is not only mischievous, its also diversionary and likely sponsored by the same BH sympathisers at the helm of Naijas security affairs; thieves waiting to steel the N3bn.

Enough said, the war in the North is simply business!. Trust no Nigerian politician nor these civil servants-run companies.

We like this grammar of "abundant human and natural resources"! As far as I'm concerned our human resources are actually very poor and not abundant at all, especially in modern tech. If we have no experience is weapons manufacture, then we just dont have it.

I wonder why we don't buy from Eastern Europe or Asia though. I would imagine that China and Russia would have no qualms selling us machine guns, bullets, grenades and other small level weaponry we need to fight Boko Haram. After all, we ain't fighting a sophisticated enemy.

Nice development but the worries include hope it will not be another avenue for corruption, nepotic location of the production site or hijack by criminal elements both within & outside the military?
