This is not a common occurrence. The Christmas Star as some called it or star of Bethlehem is an alignment of Jupiter (the biggest planet) and Saturn ( the ring planet).

This alignment produces a visible constellation. And it's unusually bigger than the average star seem on earth.

The last time this happened was at the beginning of the millennium (2000). The next one will be in 2080 (if Dem never use nukes destroy humanity by then or global warming)-of which over 90% of those that witnessed this one may not be alive to witness that one.

I don't know if it was seen across every country. But many countries witnessed it.
