NIN is the handiwork of Goodluck Jonathan which the gullible and irresponsible ones give so many negative names...now they want to use it for their (APC) politics 1 Like |

baggioni:Oga, things are not done this way. I lived overseas once and got a phone and SIM too. You buy sim card from a shop, put into your phone then call customer service. They take all your details and that is it. Just that first day registration. They keep that your database and use it for everything that is bothering them. You can't be disturbing subscribers 10 years after they get their SIM to come and que up and register again. That is plain stupidity and database carelessness on the part of the mobile operators. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

They should automatically link NIN with phone numbers or do it within one year...you can't just impose a policy overnight |

HerMajestyCares: Not 200 million. At least one quarter of that 200 million is less than 18 years ( I don't know the mandatory age for registration). Out of the remaining 140 million, NIMC said they have registered about 30 million since they started registration 7 years ago. That leaves the number yet to register at about 110 million. Let assume N100 million for sake being generous. This simply means NIMC is required to register 100 Nigerians between now and February 9th 2021 ( 35 days excluding weekends), which translate to 2.85 million registrations every working day. 2 Likes |

uuzba:Mr Overseas, you are not queuing to link your NIN with your sim card. Your service provider does that for free. For years it has been stress less getting your NIN but Nigerians like rush hour things. I knew that FG will extend it once the 30th December deadline was announced but if you don't do it this way people will not bother to register. |
