The Eye is an opening of the soul. The outer part of the eyes that we can see is made up of three main part, namely:
1. The white part ( The eye ball)
2. The coloured part ( the iris)
3. The black dot ( the pupil )

The most common colour of the iris is brown, either light or dark brown. But there are several other colours.
There are two substance that are responsible for the colour of the eye. They are;
1. Melanin (which is responsible for the brown colouration if the eye)
2. Lipochrome ( which is responsible for the yellow colouration of the eye )
NOTE: These two substance are dependant on some other factors. The more the melanin the browner the iris and the lesser the melanin the bright it is. So as the melanin reduces Lipochrome increase and vice versa.

Now talking about the Rarest colours of the eye. I will tell you from the least rare to the most rare colour.

5. Hazel


This is a type of eye colouration that is very uncommon, approximately, less than 5% if the world population has these colour of eyes.
People who have Hazel colour of eyes have just as much melanin as people with brown eyes, just that it is found around the iris.
Though it is rare, it can be found throughout the world, especially in Europe and the United States.
Hazel is a light or yellowish-brown color with specks of gold, green, and brown in the center.
