Isaiah 9:6-7

6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Christmas came to us when Jesus was given as a Son to us. A son is born to Parents (family) So Christmas is really about family.

In Nigeria, some will go out to drink themselves to stupor, some have accidents under intoxication and many just leave and take pleasure anywhere they find it because of Christmas.

John 3:16-17

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Christmas is about Gods love to us and salvation.

Christmas used to mean so many things to me but now, apart from the festive mood everyone gets in, 25th is just like any other day for me.
I'm spending the time with family, my real Gs and my original plantain leaves.
