SPECIAL CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL

Dearest people of Nigeria, it gives me immeasurable joy to identify with you in this season of love. Unlike other seasons, Christmas is to us Christians a very remarkable time to reflect on the love of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is a time to imagine the magnitude of love Christ had for us, such that he accepted to come down and be born in human form to go through tribulations for our sake.

As a country so blessed and copiously endowed, let us as a matter of necessity align with the spirit of this season to sustain these blessings and God's special endowments. It is a confirmed belief that love, cooperation and unity are necessary for the sustenance of any society. Let us however be reminded by this season that Nigeria is all we have, employing our resources to building it to a cynosure should be our collective responsibility.

I am therefore privileged to urge us, as those who believe wholly in the sovereignty of Christ, to take to heart love, cooperation, unity, forgiveness, understanding and of course every virtue that grants us the grace to partake in the abundant blessings of God this Christmas has come with.
