I used to be like this too but I bought my current phone, Redmi 7 here. I have bought 2 PS3 here too (although the ps3s were from the same person and I never met the guy before)

This is my advice. Use escrow. I never used escrow in all my transactions but that was because

1. When I bought the redmi, I met the guy face to face. I had to travel to Ibadan from Iwo, Osun state sef. To avoid bank transfer stories, I withdrew the money and had the whole cash with me cos I didn't want to hear "I have not seen alert"

2. When I bought the PS3, I bought it from someone well known on nairaland. If you want to buy something, create a post asking people to vouch for the seller but this doesn't work for everyone as some people are not that popular here and no one would vouch for them. This doesn't make them a fraud but still don't trust them. In this case, I would advice meeting them. Or use escrow. Some people don't like using escrow, if that's the case, meet them face to face. The only people you should trust and transfer money to without meeting are established businesses on NL, people that others will vouch for a lot and people that have a lot to lose if their reputation should be tarnished

I've bought two phones from here, I used escrow for one.

I've also sold a number of phones here too and I usually encourage people buying from me to use escrow cause I'm still upcoming grin

Using escrow is always the safest option but they're numerous sellers here that are I can comfortably tell you to send money to, try to always make your research before sending money to anybody

I'm back bro...It was nice doing business with you as not many people would try pay before delivery. You are really a patient person. I appreciate you.

BTW, I have a Huawei Mate 8, looking for a serious buyer. It has a strong battery stamina and good for playing games too. 30k is my final price. I can send it to any location.

please what's escrow?

It's the use of one of the trusted men here to stand in as a middle man (most people use wese90), the buyer sends the money to the escrow and the escrow doesn't release the money to the seller till the product gets to the buyer and he/she confirms that it is in the stipulated conditions

Just do proper checks, ask for vouches
Check when registered, how active, run a search on the phone number and account number
