Yesterday night, I was really lost in thought as to how a transfer is being done without one(the receiver) having to visit a bank especially a Western Union bank.

But most importantly, assuming I want to ask a white man or woman (not necessarily a foreigner) to send me money, how will that be possible with just my account number, bank and name


Secondly if he or she sends me iTunes card or all those stuffs, how do I convert it to Money



Please I may sound naive to you but I want to make sure I ask this question in the most simplest way possible so that I can get a very simple and understandable answer. I want to be free from this thought.

As for sending money. Create a payment link using Paystack or any online payment portal and link your local bank aza for withdrawal.

Firstly. I’ll not advise you to get money direct from US as you’ll have to face lots of wahala in bank before you can get it. It happens to me not long ago. And there was a thread o read here about international transfer and all those stuffs. So avoid it for now. But if you wanna risk it. You can tell the person to send the money direct to your bank and you’ll get it at your bank. It’s easy but I think there’s a new protocol regarding it now and it’s not favorable.
Lastly; if you get iTunes, steam or eBay card, you can sell it to vendors and you’ll be paid in no time. $50 steam card is 16,400 now and it’s a very good rate cos you’ll be paid with cashapp rate. You can get vanilla too. It comes with good and attractive rate.
