As a mother, are you telling me your hand will never touch your baby's poop when cleaning (even with wipes, there's still contact sometimes) I see that you are mistaking your personal sentiments for a logical choice.

So pray tell between the two people below, who's more hygienic?

1st person: cleans up buttocks with water (or water and soap), washes hand thoroughly with soap and water. Result: Both ass and hands are clean
2nd person: Uses tissue to clean up, washes hands thoroughly. Result: Hands are clean with dirty smelly ass.

I used to think like you regarding the emboldened part. The one day at the office, after wiping with tissue about 12 times (I finished over half the roll of big-sized tissue) at the thirteenth time, the tissue was as white after wiping as it was before entry. Something just nudged me to moisten another tissue roll and use. I did this and lo and behold the wet tissue was dark brown all over. The fact is after dry wiping with tissue, just know that there are still tons of shit left in your ass that the dry tissue cannot pick up whether you have hairy balls or not.

That singular experience made me switch to water. It is indisputably more hygienic than using tissue as it will remove all fecal matter. Of course you should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water but Nigerians generally lack proper hand washing hygiene after toilet use and this applies to both tissue and water users. So it is not a distinguishing factor between both options.

For ladies saying use tissue and bath afterwards, my question is this, when bathing will you dip your hands into and wash the innermost part of the ass vigorously as one would have done immediately after pooing and rinsing with water? If this is not done, there'll be a lot of unwashed shit smear lodged in between those beautiful ass cheeks.
