simply put a credit policy is a set of guidelines that set credit, and payment terms for citizens(customers), and establishes a clear course of action for late payments
.
developed countries of the world becomes great by employing policies (fiscal policy, monetary policy and credit policy) to bring about core development to her citizens. In Nigeria context, monetary and fiscal policy is mostly use to bring about development and save the ever increasing population from crimes and gross irresponsibility which invariably is not working as supposed.

Credit policy which is the subject of discuss will be broken down into the below subjects.

1) the need for credits to Nigerians (graduate, possibly with nysc)
2) the core importance of the credit to the citizens
3) how to make it work

having established the above subject, meaning therefore will given to them
.
1) An average Nigeria graduate will prefer to have a little business of her own were she will engage others (mostly non graduate) .to grow the business, engaged the strength of the youth to something useful and productive and shifts their focus from crimes. The youths are willing, but our government is deaf to her plight.

The Nigeria population is growing without an increase in SMSE thereby creating jobs for neighboring countries to bring in daily average food like eggs and livIng her increasing population jobless.

2) the core importance of credits is to allow the youth (mostly graduate) to go into production of necessity, reduce extreme unemployment, engage their strength, stop importations of common food items into the country, save our foreign earnings and help to boasts the value of our naira.

3) how to make it work is itemise below

.= government should pls allow credit to youth by creating an average of 2m to 2,000 persons per states and 1000 person of the federal capital making a total value of 146billion yearly
.
= government should collect data from NYSC of corpers that serves in the individual state irrespective of state of origin and synchronised with loan request. I.e if u are from kano states and serve in Delta state, u submit ur request to the loan porter in delta state.

= any person requesting for a loan should or must provide two government staff BVN as guarantee with complete knowledge of the BANK owners and duly signed by the BVN owners.

A providers of bvn will not give out his bvn for something that will not be productive, him knowing fully well that inability to repay as agree will attract a debit to his salary account at source.

= this will help to reduce unemployed graduate and help create jobs for non graduate.

=graduate getting assess to this loan can be mandated to go into farming( poultry, fish farming, snail farming, productions of the farm needs and any other areas)

NB

driving credit policy to the government and implementation of the policy will really help to have a better Nigeria.

my small idea......
