In a fast advancing and emerging world, leadership should concentrate more on the people and the value they bring to the table. This is because, the value of a society is an aggregate of the value of members of such society, which the leadership of such society plays an important role in discovering, nurturing and managing.

Effective leadership in the 21st century actually entails managing, organizing, building and harnessing the potentials of followers.

Among all the Frontline contenders for post of the Chief Executive Officer of Ekiti State, Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka appears to be the best human manager. Let us evaluate all his previous positions before becoming the Deputy Governor in 2014, and you would see an effective leader that knows how to bring the best from his team to actualize an objective.

More so, while he was the deputy Governor of the Fountain of Knowledge, he once again demonstrated a rare combination of intelligence and maturity in managing the most critical sector of any country or state - the Educational sector.

Apart from the fact that the development of the Educational sector points to the development of the state's future, it entails the coordination of brains in the sector, people who have been used to a particular way of doing things and people with different individual differences and backgrounds. He deployed his God-given managerial skills to produce results in Ekiti State, which has become a template for other states. He is not just a Professor who knows what to do but who knows who's best fit to deliver without compromising integrity or reducing the self esteem of support teams.

After his loss at the July 14th, 2018 gubernatorial election where Governor John Kayode Fayemi won amidst different controversies and issues, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka remained calm unlike so many other politicians who suffered political accidents, he never blamed anyone, either his political leaders nor party members for his loss.

Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka rather than become unnecessarily aggrieved or dejected, gathered his team, followers and lovers and he has continually engaged them.

We are aware of how Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka excellently manages different political groups, interests and tendencies and he seems to be the bride of all major stakeholders in the party and even in the opposition party. They know he has the capacity, experience, intelligence and maturity to manage all stakeholders in the state and in ensuring that all contribute to the development of the state through efficient optimization of their individual capabilities.

This attitude of excellent human management is a major leadership virtue and it is one of the major problems bedevilling Ekiti State at the moment.

Prof. Olusola Eleka is an excellent and humble human manager, Ekiti people both home and abroad need someone like him to lead and push us into our next level.

Leadership without human resource management capability is leadership standing on sand - it cannot be trusted.

Ekiti deserves a thoroughbred human manager and Prof. Olusola Eleka offers that.

I dont know him in person despite being from same town, but one can tell through his appearance that he is someone that has the fear of God.

When it comes to governance as it stands, all i always pray for is God's will to be done, nothing more, nothing less...

We should all learn from the present occupier of Aso rock who came proclaiming to be the messiah Nigerians has been waiting for, deceit at its highest peak!!
